Gary is one of the original partners that founded R.I. Heller Co., LLC. in March 1998.

Gary has over 24 years of operations management experience of multi-location, widely distributed, service-oriented businesses. He spent the first 15 years of his career in field operations positions with Hertz and Budget Rent a Car, holding various management roles with increasing responsibility. In 1994 he was promoted to Vice President of Budget Rent a Car, and was appointed to the Management Committee. As Vice President, Gary managed several disciplines, including Organizational Development, accounting and processing consolidation, Customer Service, and Worldwide Reservations.

When Gary helped form R.I. Heller & Company, LLC.  He worked as a consultant with a variety of clients on operational, fleet, and strategic issues in the travel and transportation industry. In 2001 Gary served as an interim Executive with Shuttleport, a bus and transportation company specializing in airport shuttle service and school bus operations including operations, maintenance, acquisition and disposal.

In August of 2001 Gary was hired as a Consultant with ANC Rental. In March of 2002 Gary was hired as Area Vice President, Operations, responsible for managing the daily operations. In addition to the day today operations, Gary oversaw the consolidation of the operational functions of the two companies, while maintaining brand differentiation for the customer. Gary worked through the successful sale of ANC Rental Corporation in October 2003.

Most recently Gary is on assignment developing a new business venture with Payless Car Rental, headquartered in Tampa, FL. He is developing new business locations in airports nationwide.
